Seven Salad Ideas to try in Seven Days: In the recent times people have become more health conscious. This has been the major factor behind people adopting a healthy diet in their routine life. The healthier you eat the better it is for your body in the long run. Below is a list of healthy and easy to make salads which you can try if you haven’t already.
1. CARROT SALAD
 
A combination of shredded carrots cooked with mustard seeds and green chillies in olive oil.

2. BARLEY SALAD
 
Mixture of boiled Barley with Olives, Mint, Tomatoes, Bell-pepper and Onion.

3. BEAN SALAD
A combination of various cooked beans such green beans, chick peas and Kidney beans mixed with onions, pepper or any vegetable of choice.

4. GREEN SALAD
A mixture of lettuce, cucumber, Tomato, Onion with Olive oil, Salt and Pepper.

5. CRUNCHY CABBAGE SALAD
A combination of shredded cabbage, uncooked noodles, toasted sesame seeds and almond mixed with vinegar and a little sugar.

6. FRUIT SALAD
 
It can be a combination of many fruits mixed together and topped with honey. Seasonal fruits are best to make this salad.

7. SPROUT SALAD
A combination of sprouts, onions, tomatoes and green chilles mixed with salt and lemon.

All the above salads can be modified as per your likes and dislikes but make sure to use only healthy ingredients to experiment with.

  1. INDEED HEALTHY TREAT. WITH THE ADDITIONS OF SOME LOCAL COOKING SUBSTITUTES IT CAN BE MADE A FUN LIKE ADD CRUSHED CORN FLAKES, ROCK SALT, ZINGER, CHAAT MASALA, CRUSHED POTAO CHIPS, PIECES OF FRENCH FRIES, RESINS, ROASTED PEA NUTS ETC.
